Mayflower 24-Hour Charity Shoot 2023

Mayflower Archers held a 24-hour shoot in order to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support on the 25th to the 26th August 2023. This event was in recognition of the support given to one of our longstanding members (and coach) Martin Vidgeon-Hart whose son Joe has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.  

At least 66 Archers joined us to shoot at some point over the 24-hour period and over 9,000 arrows were dispatched in total.  We're still adding up, but the total raised is already over £12,000.    

The contributions will help those living with cancer. This may be through financial support, provision of an oncology nurse, providing emotional support, and much more.  Many thanks once again!
