Mayflower Archers Junior Club meets every Saturday morning between 10am and 1pm and is led by our Junior Liaison Officer. The sessions vary each week with juniors given the chance to shoot rounds to achieve progress badges, compete in simulation competitions, individual coaching as well as lots of fun sessions!
We welcome archers of all levels and abilities, recognising that every young archer is different, with different learning styles, needs and goals. We work with them to achieve progression and knowledge, whilst ensuring enjoyment of the sport along the way.
Outside of Junior Club sessions, our young archers have the same 24/7 access to the club facilities as any other member. Our only restriction is that they must be accompanied by an adult and a current ArcheryGB member (this can be the same person).
Mayflower Archers has adopted Archery GB Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy and Procedures, which can be found at https://archerygb.org/about/safeguarding.
The latest safeguarding information can be found on the Junior Club noticeboard in the Clubhouse. This is frequently updated with information for children and parents.
