Windsor League

This Essex-based annual league is run in the summer months and for 2025 will run from July to September with one round per month where each club competes against one of the other clubs in their division.  The Windsor competition operates on a handicap system and is intended to allow newer archers to compete alongside more experienced ones and enjoy the multi-distance competition format.

After entering a team in this league for the first time this year, Mayflower competed in Division Two and secured a splendid victory with no defeats!  Much fun was had and well done all who took part.  🎉  Following up with that sucess we have decided to enter TWO Windsor teams this year

Each team is usually formed of eight archers and the top 5 scores count to the team score.  We frequently make arrangement for any additional archers to shoot alongside.   Everyone is welcome to enter.  We are looking for a person to volunteer as team captain for these matches.

A Windsor round is shot on a 122cm face at the following distances:

• 36 arrows at 60 yards
• 36 arrows at 50 yards 
• 36 arrows at 40 yards
